Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Lorain with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in Ohio may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Great store, never had any issues. Sushi and bakery is great. BUT PLEASE STOP PUTTING WHIP CREAM ON THE FROSTED SPRINKLED DONUTS. PLEASE. Itโ€™s fine for the holidays if you want to put toppers on them but for the rest of the year just leave them as theyโ€™re supposed to be. Iโ€™m begging.

I hope the powers that be read this in time, because you made the wrong veteran dad upset. My daughter placed a grocery order for me to pick up but was told that, for some reason it has to be delivered. Fine, but why has her order been rescheduled twice? That is ridiculous and unprofessional. If she doesn't get her order today, I will drive to Meijer and make Rambo look like Charlie Brown! Addition, daughter asked me to not go to store, but found out they rescheduled her AGAIN! Said they are short staffed. When things like that happen, do what is right and don't do orders. That is rude and inconsiderate to take orders and payment, then make the customer wait. She will never do online ordering from his place ever again.

Why is it so hard to talk to someone at your store directly When you call the store you listen to 5 minutes of recording then you finally get to talk to someone and they're not in the store. They know nothing about the store they cannot answer any specific questions about the store that you're trying to call into. I spent 10 minutes on the phone trying to ask a simple question I was put through hoops put on hold my question wasn't answered. This was a huge waste of my time. Do better

The Frederik family should be ashamed! Store is terrible (as are many I have experienced across Northeast Ohio) They do not care about their live fish (or their employeesโ€ฆ) that they sell which is a shame because they are live creatures. GROCERY STORES SHOULD NOT SELL LIVE FISH - if Walmart no longer does, why does Meijer? They do not even have the right tools to be able to properly bag or give them air. They frequently get in sick, diseased fish. The fish die and no one cares to remove them so understandably it affects all the tanks as they have an interconnected filter. They donโ€™t even sell the right medications for these poor things so thereโ€™s really no hope for them. Not to mention dumping all the female bettas in one tank as a โ€œsororityโ€ and having to watch them bully one another to death if they arenโ€™t already suffering from a disease and likely being overfed. Male bettas disgustingly neglected in their cups. Itโ€™s honestly ANIMAL ABUSE. Management is not helpful. Specifically Christa and the HR lady Diane. They do not properly train, direct, manage or really show any care for their employees and so the lack of care for the fish is not surprising. Also worth mentioning- my mot

Nice store, clean and well organized and can get pretty much anything you need for the house there. Produce-both fruits and vegetables, stay fresh a long time. Pharmacy is also nice.
